ABOUT US
ADORATION
“My sweetest Joy is to be in the presence of Jesus in the holy Sacrament. I beg that when obliged to withdraw in body, I may leave my heart before the holy Sacrament. How I would miss Our Lord if He were to be away from me by His presence in the Blessed Sacrament!”
St. Katharine Drexel
St Alban’s strives to bring pupils opportunities to engage in both traditional and contemporary worship. Each form group have at least one opportunity a term to spend their morning in the presence of Our Saviour. Linking the themes of the weeks worship with the most beautiful tradition of the Church.
Come and explore the impact on our students Catholic and otherwise and how Adoration of the Blessed sacrament impacts their day.
“”I found it quite relaxing and peaceful. It was a really nice way to start the day off with peace and quiet. It really brings our form together.
Rorie, Year 10
“Adoration is something really different to me but I am starting to understand why it is important to our school. It is a peaceful way to start the mornings in God’s presence”
