Introduction
We deal with all that is old and much that is not so old. The History Department has two full-time specialists and endeavours to deliver a curriculum that can cross time from Ancient Rome in Year 7 to the Gulf War in Year 10.
We offer History at both GCSE and Advanced Level. We offer the opportunity to do research, master evidential skills, learn about the distinctive nature of Wales and Britain, understand European History, investigate the history of Park House, delve into family History and explore some of the more dramatic events of the Twentieth Century.
