Outstanding Year 13 Results at St Albans RC High School Pontypool

We are rightly proud of our amazing students and the staff who have worked tirelessly throughout their time at St Albans to achieve these results. We are delighted with our A Level  results; 97% achieved level 3 threshold and 18% achieved 3A*A. This is a significant improvement from last year. We are also extremely  proud of our continued 100% pass rate of students studying vocational courses. There are many success stories including our highest achievers, Fiona McCorkindale, Prince Valiant Becasen, Emily Brown, Leyana Byju, Jessica Curtis, Lydia Carey, Rebecca Davies, Menna Edwards, Peter Edwards, Seren Gunningham, Luke Hands, Emily Lussana-Harwood, Harry McGhee, Jacob Meehan, Via Munoz, Chloe Price and Harry Wren who will now take up their prestigious places at university. One notable success is Laura McGriele who has gained a place at Oxford University to study English Literature.

There were also many stories of individuals who through perseverance and determination achieved their target grades and earned a place at university of their choice or employment. These achievements would not happen without the support of their families who work closely with the school supporting their children. We wish all students every success in their chosen next stage on their career pathway and thank them for all they have given during their time at St Albans.
