On 22nd June, as part of the Wales Festival of Innovation, SPTS will be opening its doors to local school children, to give them a flavour of what SPTS does, and ideas about how studying STEM subjects could be used in their future careers within the dynamic and ever-advancing field of semiconductors and microelectronics.

Semiconductors and microelectronics touch almost every aspect of our daily lives, and Wales has a long and great history of semiconductor technologies and companies with many global leaders located in South Wales like SPTS, who can offer great training and career opportunities for the next generation of young people interested science and developing technologies of the future.

On Monday 22nd June, there will be three sessions, lasting approximately 1.5 hours:

Session 1: 09:30 – 11:00
Session 2: 11:00 – 12:30
Session 3: 13:00 – 14:30


Places are limited, so if you have any students who are aged between 16- 18 years and interested in visiting SPTS Technologies on Monday 22nd June, please contact us asap.The SPTS Technologies address is detailed below and SPTS is located just off Junction 24 of the M4.
